Stephen’s main responsibility is to grow Contego by ensuring customers get the very best experience through helpful, accurate product information and recommendations for all PPE scenarios.

Stephen has worked for Contego since leaving school and learnt the ropes in the warehouse, developing an understanding of how the process works and the importance of ensuring that all customer requirements are clear.

He also had a short stint in the purchasing team to gain an understanding of the processes that an order goes through. Now he works in the environment that he loves the most, speaking with customers day in day out!

He said: “I really enjoy interacting with customers and providing them with all the information they require to make informed decisions about items they should purchase and ensure their teams are protected correctly. I enjoy the busy atmosphere of customers who have urgent requires and being able to deliver on these!"

“I might be a little biased, but Contego has been built from the ground up, with attention to detail in all areas, focused upon delivering what the customer wants. What I am really passionate about is that we are a size where we can have a personable relationship with our customers and remember the details that are important to them, but are big enough to be able to offer fantastic value, extensive product ranges and quick turnarounds, even on customised items”.
